5 months ago, I scheduled a new patient appointment at your office.
I never had an appointment with your office after my initial new patient appointment.
I used to have a severe phobia about going to a dentist related to a childhood dentist who was horrible, verbally abusive and threatening to a 5 year old.
All the staff were very kind and patient, in answering all my questions. The waiting time to be seen was very short as well. Well worth the drive from Lafayette to see them. Nice jobs folks!!
I was never contacted again.
Your dentist and staff informed me that I needed a deep cleaning because of "significant bone loss".
Unfortunately I could not receive the cleaning because your office lied to my insurance, said you performed the deep cleaning, and collect the money for it.
And since it hasn't been 6 months since this procedure your office lied about performing, I cannot receive the dental care I need at this time.
Today I went to a new dentist.
And I will make this experience well known to the community surrounding your office so you cannot continue to take advantage of innocent people and their insurance providers.
After contacting your office and giving you the phone number to my insurance to talk them into covering the cost, your staff told me they'd call me back to schedule after you got in touch with my insurance.
The Only reason that I give it 4 stars is because I hate going to the dentist! But when I have to go, here is where I go. Small town and great office and staff, Understanding easy going. Great with Kids and guys that act like kids. Affordable and Flexible.
However, Dr. Border, was AMAZING, very personable, which is hard to come by these days in any kind of medical practice. I would suggest him to everyone!! Great job. I had two teeth removed, and he made sure I was totally numb, no matter how much it took. And the teeth were very difficult extractions, and he had to use numerous instruments to remove them.. But he still did such a good job, I didn't even need stitches! A+++ Best dentist ever!
However, my insurance disagreed and would not cover the cost of the procedure.
The x rays showed no bone loss and all I needed was a regular cleaning.
Wonderful experience...
